Focus on your goals
Private yoga classes provide individual attention to focus on particular needs and goals. Many students begin private yoga classes to address a specific need within their yoga practice – working on evening-out strength and mobility, or working around an injury, for instance.
Petra likes to begin a first private class with a conversation to understand your repetitive motions/tasks (ie: sitting), regular movement habits and practice, any injuries – old or new – and your expectations for your yoga classes. From there, Petra will work with you to develop a functional movement practice and goals that fit your needs.
Petra hosts private classes through her studio, Create Power Yoga. located in East Providence, RI. She is happy to teach you individually or as a small group.
We had a private session with Petra with a small group with yoga experience ranging from a certified yoga instructor to someone who had never practiced yoga ever (that was me). Petra was such a great instructor. She was able to teach things to everyone from the certified yoga instructor in our group to the extreme beginner. I wish I lived in Rhode Island. I would be here every day and would sign up for every one of Petra’s classes.
I booked a private session with Petra and it was perfect. From first communication, she was so helpful answering my many questions and helping me put together a customized class. My group was a mix of beginners and regular practitioners and Petra made a session that was accessible, inviting and fun for everyone. My group could not have been happier and it made the whole weekend that much more special.
